Biotic Reefs Exhibition

Biotic reefs are geological structures built through the in-place growth activities of organisms. The development of biotic reefs requires a long period of time and involves complex processes, involving the interaction of various reef-building and associated organisms. This special exhibition not only introduces the types of biotic reefs and their distribution in the vicinity of Taiwan but also showcases the importance of biotic reefs in global marine ecosystems and the future survival of humanity.
