The International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements

2019 was designated as the "International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements" by the United Nations (UN) and also marked the 150th anniversary of the proposal of the periodic table by the Russian chemist Dmitri I. Mendeleev.

At the exhibition, you will have the opportunity to explore the development history of the periodic table, enjoy fascinating audiovisual projections of the periodic table, delve into the content and rules of the periodic table, and learn about the origin of chemical elements in the universe. Chemical elements are ubiquitous and can be found in our daily living environment, minerals, and various other substances, exhibiting intriguing chemical transformations.

Through this special exhibition, we hope to enhance public awareness of the relationship between chemical elements and our daily lives, as well as spark interest in topics related to chemistry, the environment, and sustainable development.
