Our Unexpected Arthropod Housemates

"A home" is a space where people can seek shelter, regardless of whether it is simple or luxurious. However, regardless of how closed off and isolated human homes may be from the outside world, they are still a part of nature. For arthropods, if the "home" provides a suitable living environment, they consider it their own "home." When ordinary people encounter unexpected arthropods in their homes, they often react with fear and complaints, resorting to chemical pesticides for immediate treatment. Such practices not only affect their own health but also cause serious environmental pollution. In reality, the majority of insects found in homes are harmless to humans and contribute to a delicate ecological balance in natural surroundings. There is no need to excessively fear or overreact.

This exhibition aims to encourage  people to approach the arthropods in their homes with a more accurate attitude and mindset.
