Fonghuanggu Bird & Ecology Park, which became one of the Museum's divisions in the end of January, is a beautiful district for nature lovers. Covering an area of 33 hectares, the Park features abundant natural resources and ecosystems, including a variety of insects such as spiders, butterflies, beetles…etc., many endemic species of birds, ruins of 921 Earthquake (1999) and Typhoon Taraji (2001), waterfalls, and mountain trails. The Park also offers visitors an excellent spot to get understanding about insect ecology.

The National Museum of Natural Science hosts this meaningful and educational event - insect ecology tour at Fonghuanggu. Other than enjoying the Nature, participants are able to learn a lot from the tour. The Museum's insect experts will tell participants many things about insects such as the role that they play in our environment, their interesting and unique habits and behaviors, the relationship between insects and their environment, and our scientists' methods of investigation. Our curators will also tell participants how to protect insects' environment while they are admiring these little cute things. In that case, these little cute things can live forever and after!

This insect ecology tour is available for people who love the Nature and insects.
