The National Museum of Natural Science Celebrates National Teacher Day!

Teachers are an integral part at the National Museum of Natural Science. Hundreds of amazing teachers bring their students to the Museum each year and thousands of students are affected by the educators who participate in our professional learning workshops. Also, quite a few of retired teachers do volunteering jobs here, providing a wide range of essential services.

The Museum is pleased to recognize and reward the important role that teachers play and would like to thank all educators for their dedication by offering free admission to the Museum galleries (ticking exhibition excluded) and inviting them to the premieres of “The Frogville”.

The Frogville”, Taiwan’s first 3D animated film, tells the story of a group of Taiwanese rice frogs searching for their Utopia, and will hit theaters on October 3. The two free premieres are held at the Museum’s 3D Theater at 6pm-8pm & 6:30pm-8:30pm on Sep. 27 & 28. Online registration is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Participation in National Teacher Day is just one of the ways the NMNS supports educators. Also, the Museum’s Fonghuanggu Bird & Ecology Park @ Lugu and Chelungpu Fault Preservation Park @ Chushan are opening their doors to all educators, free of charge – from now on, not just on Teacher Day!
