The Autumn Moon

As a result of increasing transnational marriage in Taiwan in recent years, the number of new immigrant children has continued to increase each year. Based on the mission of offering opportunities for the young and young at heart to learn, connect and grow through interactive events, the National Museum of Natural Science designs a series of 'Taiwan New Immigrant New Learning' programs which are suitable for new immigrants to learn our culture, including gallery tours, film viewing, multicultural talks, DIY workshops and so on.

This autumn, the NMNS offers 'The Autumn Moon' event to meet the upcoming Mid-autumn Festival also Moon Cake Festival, which is the second grandest festival after the Spring Festival in China. This event (9:40am - 3:30pm) held at our Blue Conference Room on Sunday, September 20 includes learning of cultures among different ethnic groups and knowledge of the moon, and making special food for the Moon Festival, and more.... This is a free event with a limited number of participants. Participants are asked to bring their own tableware. We welcome all new immigrant families and local elementary students of 3rd grade level or above to participate. It will be an unforgettable autumn event!
