People in Taiwan annually celebrate Teacher’s Day on September 28. This holiday commemorates the birthday of Confucius, who is believed to be the model master educator in ancient China. Now it is a day for honoring teachers and recognizing the lasting contributions they make to our lives.

As a leading role in transforming the nation’s relationship with natural science, the Museum has always positioned itself as educational institution in popular science field. In our ongoing efforts to promote popular science, teachers are an integral part of the educational work. Hundreds of amazing teachers bring their students to the Museum each year and over half a million school children are affected by the educators who participate in our professional learning workshops. Teacher Appreciation Week is the week for the Museum to say "Thank you!" to all educators for their dedication to student learning.  

    This special week includes:
  • Buy one get one free or buy two get two free admissions to Brain: The Biology of Mind exhibition for educators with valid IDs.
  • Concession tickets to the IMAX Space Theater or 3D Theater for educators with valid IDs. (Each educator is limited to four tickets.)
