Before You Come ……

• Plan ahead. Make the best use of information provided to assist in planning your trip.
• To enhance your NMNS visit, we suggest you become our members by buying our Family Card or Dinosaur Card. For more information, please call: (04) 2322-6940 ext. 579, or visit the Membership Website in Chinese.
• If you are already our members, bring your Membership Cards to obtain discounts and privileges. For more information, please visit About Us > Membership.
• Entry to our galleries is free on Wednesday mornings (9:00 ~ 10:00 am). Of course, Wednesday mornings are often more busy.
• Make your NMNS visit an adventure for children by talking beforehand about the things they will see.
• Because you will do a lot of walking within the museum, we suggest you wear comfortable clothing and shoes (Slippers are not allowed). Bring only a small purse or "fanny-pack" style-bag.
• The Museum buildings are air-conditioned around the year. A lightweight sweater or jacket is advisable even in humid summer.
  

After You Arrive ……

• Leave large daypacks, backpacks or luggage on the tour or school bus or in a hotel room.
• If you have to bring large items with you, you can store them in the lockers near the entrances to the Life Science Galleries and the Chinese Science Galleries.
• Make the Information Desk located at the Shi-tun Rd. entrance (the entrance to the Chinese Science Galleries or the Global Environment Galleries) your first stop to get free brochures, or enquire about information.
