    Coexistence of Regularity and Irregularity

Our Paradox is designed on basis of "projective geometry", which originated from the principles of perspective art. It is the branch of geometry dealing with the properties and invariants of geometric figures under projection.

You are wrong if you thought these colorful metal pieces are arranged there at random. In fact, they are arranged under the consideration of points, rays, lines, and planes so that they may form multi-colored squares when you look at them through the aperture.

Visit our Numbers & Shapes gallery at the lower level of Life Science Hall, there are exhibitions and demonstrations about "shapes and projections" at its entrance. It will help you gain a better understanding about the Paradox, and enjoy it more.
