Astrology teaching and hands-on science used simple materials and concise lectures, allowing participants to learn about science concepts through hands-on activities.

For 2003 and 2004, astrology teaching programs and hands-on science covered a wide range of topics, such as pinhole camera, paper-made rocket, light imaging, planet system and solar system, cloud detector, pressed flower art, Mars Explorer, tropical fish, Chinese legends, sunspot observations, cup anemometer, moon phase kaleidoscope, building blocks, aircrafts and flying machines, and many others.
