From August, photographers anticipate the arrival of sea of clouds season. Seas of clouds form before or after the arrival of a cold front, with dramatic changes in the weather, following immediate clearing of a storm or one or two days after heavy rain over several consecutive days. I ride these waves up the mountains and tread through them going down.
