Introduction
NEOWISE(C / 2020 F3)彗星具有接近拋物線軌道的逆行長週期。
NEOWISE (C/2020 F3) is a retrograde comet with a near parabolic orbit. On March 27, 2020 it was discovered by NASA’s Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer (WISE) space telescope. In early July, after NEOWISE emerged from perihelion its brightness greatly increased. It is the brightest comet in the northern hemisphere since Comet Hale-Bopp in 1997. To date, it is the brightest ever observed, attracting many stargazers. NEOWISE was predicted to come closest to the earth on July 22-23, at a distance of only 103 million kilometers. If this opportunity was missed, it would be a 6,000-year wait. While most photographers focused on the comet, the addition of the unique urban landscape enriched the composition.
