In 2020, due to the rise in water temperatures, there was widespread and serious coral bleaching at well-known dive sites all around Taiwan. Even sea anemones were not immune. However, clownfish seemed not to be impacted and continued to hide among them. Bleached sea anemones, although sick, displayed a different aesthetic, creating mixed emotions for photographers.
