Biodiversity is good

In addition to showcasing a large collection of fossils, skeletons, fur, and reconstructed specimens of mainland vertebrates, the special exhibition also features, for the first time, a partial display of the Museum's world collection of trilobites, showcasing their diversity through the specimens themselves. Through this, visitors can gain an understanding of the science of living organisms and appreciate their beauty and wonders. Additionally, live ants are showcased through ant nests , models, and augmented reality, aiming to arouse curiosity among the public to observe and respect these life forms that exist on earth.

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Earth Day in 2020, the National Museum of Nature and Science launched the "Biodiversity is Good " special exhibition, presenting the emotional and intellectual beauty of the biological world through its rich internal collections and folk art creations, combined with Taiwan's local or global research efforts.
