The Great Discovery of Homo cf. erectus

The discovery of a fossil belonging to an extinct hominin species, named Homo cf. erectus, once again brought the origin of mammals on Taiwan during the Quaternary Period into dispute. During the Ice Age, the sea level rose and fell periodically, opening up a pathway for animals to migrate and then obstructing their return. Was this large migration of animals for exploiting new lands? Or, to occupy another corner of the world? Or was it to enter an environment suited to extinction? Human evolution is highly complex. What does the discovery of Homo cf. erectus tell us? Which animals coexisted with Homo cf. erectus? Let's look at the fossils to find the answers to these questions.
