Spherical-shaped Dou
Spherical-shaped dou (museum accession number: YL0881)
Clay pottery. The shape of this vessel is very unique. Part of this vessel is almost completely spherical. At the top is the mouth and at the bottom is the round foot. This type of pottery vessel has not been found in other archaeological sites. It may have been for ceremonial use.
