Description: Round, thick-lipped, restricted mouth bowl fragment.
Dimensions: Mouth diameter 120 mm. Fragment height 750mm, fragment weight 190.2 g, thickness 8.6 mm.
Material: Pressed fine sand gray black pottery.
Condition: 1/3 rim fragment, belly damaged, composite reconstruction.
This bowl is similar to the orange red round bowls. On the surface are numerous impressed broken lines. The pattern is distinct, rough and broad. This bowl is thick and heavy. It was blackened by smoke on the surface and inside. Excavated from the 17th layer of the TP5 test pit at about 180 cm from the surface, it belongs to the Fantzuyuan Culture cultural layer.

Description: Short neck, open mouth jar fragment
Dimensions: Mouth diameter 160mm, neck height 220 mm, fragment height 105 mm, fragment weight 176.0 g, thickness 65 mm.
Material: Pressed fine sand gray brown pottery.
Condition: Rim fragment, composite.
Excavated from the 18th to 19th layer of the TP5 test pit. On the surface are impressed fishbone patterns (pinniform patterns). This pattern was common during the late period of the Yingpu Culture and early period of the Fantzuyuan Culture. The maximum belly diameter is only slightly larger than the mouth diameter, making it a small, large-mouthed jar. This type of jar has been excavated from the TP3 test pit of the Shekouwei site in the upper and lower cultural layers of the Fantzuyuan Culture. Most are of solid color without pattern. Colors include gray black, gray brown and light brown. In general, mouth diameter ranges from 160 to 225 mm and neck height from 22 to 25 mm.
