Large teapot
Found at the Taichung train station site, this porcelain pot was imported from Japan during Japanese colonial rule. Patterns on teapots at that time were made using European and American techniques, meaning that they were transferred and affixed before firing. During the Japanese colonial period, Japanese porcelain teapots were sold in Taiwan and some families used large porcelain pots for brewing tea.
