Covered bowl

This covered bowl is from the Bantou Village site in Chiayi County’s Xingang Township and was produced in Jingde Town during the Qing dynasty from the late 18th century to the early 19th century and was popular among officials of that time. It was mainly used for brewing green tea. When drinking tea, the lid only needed to be removed halfway so that the tea leaves would not come out with the tea, which was very convenient.
