Ladle-shaped vessel

Accession no.: HLL-D-PT1445

Site: Huilai site

Height: 84.5 mm

Width: 203.0 mm

The surface of this ash gray clay ladle-shaped vessel has a scratched pattern and is slightly polished. There is an incised pattern on the lip and a parallel dotted pattern on the outer side near the lip. There are two holes opposite the spout, which may have been used for hanging this vessel on a rope. The hole diameters are 3.8 and 3.6 mm, respectively. It was presumably a container for holding water.
