Begonia ningmingensis
Originating in Guangxi, China, it was named by Professor Ching-I Peng from the Biodiversity Research Center of Academia Sinica after its discovery in 2006. Its leaves display beautiful patterns and it has good flowering ability. It is an important parent plant for breeding. Specimen numbers 3 and 5 are of the same lineage as Begonia ningmingensis. It is possible to compare the characteristics of these hybrid offspring to determine similarities and differences.
