This hybrid combination is of Begonia semiparietalis as the female parent and the F1 hybrid with Begonia montaniformis as the female parent and Begonia ningmingensis var. bella as the male parent. The three original species belong to section Coelocentrum, with the leaves white down the middle and green only along the edges, making them interesting to look at. From specimens no. 4 and no. 11, it is possible to compare the similarities and differences between the offspring and the parents.
