Dicephalospora rufocornea
Dicephalospora rufocornea is one of the most common cup fungi in Taiwan. It is distributed in low to high-elevation forests on twigs or small branches that have fallen to the forest floor. Below the bright yellow hymenium is the white stem. The base appears black (white arrowhead in the photo). As it grows in groups on dark brown withered twigs or branches, it is easily seen in the wild. After drying, specimens turn orange.
