Huntsman spider (adult female)
The huntsman spider (Heteropoda venatoria) belongs to the Sparassidae family and is found in low-elevation urban and suburban areas in Taiwan.
Adult females have a body length of around 2.5 cm. Males are slightly smaller but have a ring of white hairs on the carapace behind the eyes.
