Abandoned-web orb weaver (adult female)
The abandoned-web orb weaver (Parawixia dehaani) belongs to the family Araneidae. It is active at night and builds an orb web to catch prey. The abandoned-web orb weaver is relatively large, with mature females measuring up to 3 cm in length. The diameter of its web can reach 1 m. Its major feature is its pointy triangular abdomen.
