This rhinocerotid lived in northern China during the Miocene epoch. The posterior part of the skull was elongated with no horns on its snout or the upper part of its forehead. The upper incisors degenerated, while the lower incisors were very developed, extending upward and outward. It mostly inhabited areas near swamps and ate plant material.
