Loranthus kaoi (Chao) Kiu

Loranthus kaoi (Chao) Kiu parasitizes other plants in the family Loranthaceae, meaning that it is a hyperparasite. It is a species that absolutely must parasitize other parasitic plants. Endemic to Taiwan, its distribution differs from that of the widespread Loranthus delavayi and it has obvious bisexual flowers

The branches are smooth. The leaves are opposite, leathery, ovate to oblong, 3-4 cm long, 1-2 cm wide, with blunt or rounded apex, inconspicuous veins, and entire margins.
