National Museum of Natural Science

The Naturalist Center is a place for exploring the mysteries of nature. It is suited to self-guided learning by nature enthusiasts in the 3^rd grade and up. This center is divided into sections, each with displayed specimens that are related to the museum’s collection and research fields, such as the earth sciences, life sciences, and anthropology, in addition to books and other materials, and simple instruments and equipment. Visitors are welcome to view the displays and observe and research specimens that are of interest to them using instruments, equipment, and books, as they experience the fun of exploring natural science. In addition, based on the collection and research resources of this museum, selected themes are transformed into mini-exhibitions for the public to enjoy. Every year, award-winning scientific illustrations are exhibited for all to admire.

1. Target audience: Nature enthusiasts in the 3^rd grade or up. Children in the 1^st or 2^nd grade must be accompanied one-on-one by a parent or teacher.
2. Hours: Same as the museum.
3. Fees: Free (paid activities and events require registration.
4. Methods:
   a. Freely explore on-site.
   b. Exploring the Microscopic World Under a Microscope: 4 sessions per day: 9:30, 10:30, 13:30, and 15:30; 8 people per session. Please register at the information desk. 
   *Due to the limited space in this venue, during group teaching sessions or visits some sections of the center may not be open to the public.
