What is marriage? The institution of marriage has existed in human society for many years. Most people generally consider marriage to be a personal realm, formed by the emotional relationship between two individuals. However, marriage is not simply a relationship between two people. Marriage is defined by law, morality, and common sense. For sociologists, contemporary marriage offers a broader space for discussion.

This special exhibition attempts to explore the evolution of marriage and the challenges it faces in contemporary society through disciplines such as biology, history, literature, sociology, ethnology, visual anthropology, law, and political science.
