The National Museum of Natural Science and the Taiwan Seed Improvement and Propagation Station, MOA, proudly present “The Charm of Miniature Landscapes: A Tranquil Corner of Succulents.” This special exhibition showcases the beauty, ecological intelligence, and sustainable potential of succulent plants through creative arrangements, natural landscaping, and eco-friendly design.

Succulents are perennial plants with water-storing structures in their roots, stems, or leaves, enabling them to thrive in dry environments. Known for their vibrant colors and fascinating forms, these plants offer both aesthetic pleasure and a calming presence—making them a favorite among urban lifestyles.

The exhibition is themed around four poetic concepts: “Greenery Distilled Through Time,” “The Rhythm of Miniature Landscapes,” “A Green Poem Dancing with Nature,” and “Rebirth of Materials, Reimagining Time.” It features a diverse collection from plant families such as Cactaceae, Crassulaceae, and Euphorbiaceae, combined with artistic design and everyday aesthetics. Many display containers are made from glass, driftwood, and repurposed materials—embracing the principles of circular economy, low-carbon design, and sustainable living.

Succulents also play a role in horticultural therapy, offering stress relief and promoting well-being. The exhibition explores their applications in healthcare, rehabilitation, and community engagement.

We invite you to step into this green sanctuary—join a guided tour, take part in hands-on succulent arrangement workshops, and reconnect with the healing power and beauty of nature. Experience how small landscapes can spark big inspiration for a greener, more sustainable future.
