Vancouver Island is one of the most captivating places on Earth, boasting both snow-capped mountains and rugged, rocky coastlines.

It's home to a diverse array of creatures— including the adorable and intelligent sea otter.

Once on the verge of extinction due to the maritime fur trade, sea otters have achieved an astonishing population recovery.

They revitalize seaweed forests and inject new life into the coastline of British Columbia. This is Bella, a new mother sea otter, who has only eight months to teach her pups and help them learn to survive independently on this rugged coastline.

Together, they will overcome numerous challenges and witness some of nature's most breathtaking and magnificent wonders.
