這不是鸚鵡的嘴巴喔，這是蝌蚪嘴部的仰視照！蝌蚪除了乳突及嘴喙外還有滿滿的牙齒。臺灣最多牙齒的蝌蚪是誰呢？就是梭德氏赤蛙的蝌蚪，由一顆顆小小的牙齒並排成齒列，十幾條的齒列，是臺灣兩生類中最多齒列及牙齒的物種。想挑戰看看數數看牠有多少顆牙齒嗎？你可以數數看喔！

This is not a parrot’s beak but, rather, a tadpole’s mouth, photographed from underneath! Tadpoles have numerous teeth in addition to their papillae and beak. What species has the most teeth in Taiwan? It is the tadpole of Sauter’s brown frog (Rana sauteri), with rows of tiny teeth lined up, dozens of rows in total. It is the species with the most tooth rows and teeth among amphibians in Taiwan. Would you like to challenge yourself and count how many teeth it has? Give it a try!
