我們時常可以看到蜘蛛捕食昆蟲；然而，蜘蛛其實也是食肉昆蟲的食物之一。畫面中的魏氏奇葉螳螂在樹皮上有良好的保護色，咖啡色的外表與細長的身體，使牠融入樹皮的顏色之中，不易被獵物察覺。

We often see spiders preying on insects; however, spiders themselves can be prey to carnivorous insects. A horned bark mantis (Phyllothelys werneri) is well camouflaged on tree bark. Its brown appearance and slender body help it blend into the surrounding bark, making it difficult to detect.
