大西洋海神海蛞蝓於北海岸現身，我透過微距鏡頭，近距離捕捉這位稀客的尊容。當牠被猛烈的浪潮沖至白色海廢附近時，我決定以這片白作為背景，拍下幾張照片，並透過Lightroom後製，讓畫面呈現出潑墨山水的意境，將自然的美感與生物的獨特性融合在一起。牠的別名是「Blue dragon」，2024年恰逢甲辰青龍年，更為畫面添了幾分喜氣。這樣一個奇特的存在，是生物多樣性的重要象徵，提醒我們珍惜與保護這些海洋珍寶。

The sea slug (Glaucus atlanticus) appears off Taiwan’s northern coast. I captured this majestic but rare visitor close up using a macro lens. As it was washed ashore near some whitish debris, I decided to use it as a background for photographing. With Adobe Lightroom™, I created an ink-wash painting-like effect, blending the beauty of nature with the unique characteristics of this organism. One of the organism’s common names is the blue dragon, and 2024 happened to be the year of the blue dragon, which added a touch of auspiciousness to this image. This extraordinary creature is an important symbol of biodiversity, reminding us to cherish and protect living marine treasures.
