葉羊海蛞蝓是經典必拍的品種。拍照會有淡淡螢光的效果，深受水攝人的喜愛。牠們從卵裡孵出來的時候，原本是透明的，在發育的過程中攝食藻類以後，慢慢變成綠色；之後牠們會利用吃進體內的藻類葉綠體，為自己提供能量。只要每天曬曬太陽，加上偶爾補充新的葉綠體和蛋白質，就可以存活下來。

The leaf sheep slug is a classic must-photograph species. Its subtle glow makes it a favorite among underwater photographers. These slugs are transparent when they hatch. After ingesting algae, they slowly turn green as they mature. They retain the chloroplasts from the algae they engulf to produce energy. They can survive as long as they can bask in the sun daily and occasionally replenish chloroplasts and protein.
