寄生與捕食是生態系統中兩種重要的生物間交互作用。雖然兩者都會對另一種生物產生影響，但本質和結果卻有顯著不同。寄生者可能導致寄主的健康程度下降，而捕食者則直接殺死被捕食者以獲取營養。圖中所呈現的是，蟲生線蟲寄生於蠅虎的體內導致其健康惡化，隨後跳蛛捕食了這隻受寄生影響的蠅虎。在啃食的過程中，蟲生線蟲感受到生命受到威脅，從宿主體內竄出，展現出寄生與捕食之間複雜而微妙的互動關係。

Parasitism and predation are two important biological interactions in ecosystems. Although both involve one organism affecting another, they differ in their nature and outcomes. Parasites reduce their hosts’ health, while predators directly kill their prey for food. In these images, a nematode parasitizes a jumping spider, causing its health to deteriorate. Subsequently, another jumping spider preys on the parasitized spider. As the predator feeds on it, the nematode senses that its life is in danger and escapes from the host, demonstrating the complex and subtle interactions between parasitism and predation.
