八月是青紋細蟌繁殖期，但能一次見到這麼多對婚配的場面還是非常稀有。以往拍過許多細蟌的交尾畫面，最多也是三至五對就很多了，像這樣十幾對同時出現的畫面真是太震撼了！表示臺南白河這裡的環境對細蟌繁衍相當適宜，希望這樣的生態能保持下去，讓每年都可以記錄到這壯觀的場面。

August is the breeding season for the blue riverdamsel; nonetheless, finding so many pairs at once is rare. I have photographed many scenes of these insects mating. Up to now, the most I had come across at any one time was three to five pairs. Seeing a dozen or so pairs was truly amazing! This phenomenon suggests that the environment in Tainan’s Baihe District is ideal for damselfly breeding. I hope that this ecosystem continues to be preserved and that such a magnificent wedding scene can be recorded every year.
