五色鳥為擬啄木鳥屬，親鳥會在枯木上挖洞築巢並下蛋；等幼鳥孵出後，公、母鳥會輪流找尋小昆蟲和果實餵食幼鳥。當幼鳥羽翼已豐時，會從洞中離開自行獨立生活。這巢幼鳥雖然羽翼已豐，卻就是不肯出來，親鳥千方百計嘗試要將叼回來的食物引誘幼鳥到洞外食用，但幼鳥寧可不吃也不肯出來。親鳥為了不使幼鳥成為躺平族，竟用嘴巴將牠直接從洞中拖出來；親鳥用心良苦可為寵溺下一代的人類們效法。

The Taiwan barbet belongs to the genus Psilopogon. Parent birds excavate holes in dead wood to build nests, where eggs are laid. Once the eggs hatched, the male and female birds take turns finding insects and fruit to feed the chicks. Once the chicks are fully feathered, they leave the nest and begin living independently. In this case, the chick is fully feathered but refuses to come out. The parent bird is trying to lure it out with food, but the chick is not budging. To prevent this chick from joining the tang ping (lying flat) movement, the parent bird uses its beak to drag it out of the nest. Let this serve as a cautionary tale for human parents who spoil their children.
