每到五六月，林口扶輪公園內常可以看到五色鳥蹤跡，在固定幾棵樹洞口出沒，這段期間是五色鳥的繁殖季節，成鳥常咬著各式各樣的昆蟲，非常忙碌地進出洞口育雛。到了後期幼鳥慢慢長大，甚至會鑽出洞口看看這個世界，準備練習飛翔，展開自己的生命旅程。這時會吸引許多鳥友、攝影愛好者，拿著長鏡頭用相機的高速快門來捕捉凝結五色鳥餵食幼鳥的瞬間影像。

In May and June, Taiwan barbets can be seen in the cavities of certain trees in Linkou’s Rotary Park during their breeding season. The parent birds are busy going in and out of the tree cavities, carrying all kinds of insects to feed their young. As the chicks slowly mature, they emerge from the tree cavities to see the world and begin practicing flying in anticipation of their life’s journey. These activities attract throngs of bird-watching enthusiasts and photographers using long lens cameras and high shutter speeds to capture these birds feeding their young.
