每年春天黑尾鷗過境臺灣，今年大量黑尾鷗來到高雄林園，也發現海廢對黑尾鷗造成影響，有脖子套住黑圈圈的（圖1），有被魚線纏住的（圖2、3） ；雖然無法確定是不是臺灣的垃圾造成的，但海洋垃圾不分國界，還是需要積極推動垃圾減量與回收。

Every spring, black-tailed gulls migrate to Taiwan. This year, a large number arrived in Kaohsiung’s Linyuan District, with many affected by marine debris. Some had black rings around their necks (Image 1), and some were tangled in fishing line (Images 2 and 3). Although it could not be determined whether this debris originated in Taiwan, marine debris does not recognize borders. We still have much to do to actively reduce and recycle waste.

設定：快門快於1/1250以取得清晰畫面，無後製。透過拍攝黑尾鷗飛翔照片，能清楚看到腳上纏繞的魚線，這是黑尾鷗停棲在沙洲上很難清楚觀察到的。
