廢棄鹽田裡，由於大量耐鹽微生物滋生，使得滷水呈現夢幻般的粉紅或橘色。在鹽灘地上的圓形凹坑，就像一個個粉紅泡泡，是公吳郭魚求偶時所挖的，越大表示能力越好，這也是魚兒的新房。

Due to the large numbers of salt-tolerant microorganisms in these abandoned salt fields, the brine has a fantastical pink or orange tinge. The circular pits on the salt flats, like pink bubbles, were dug by the male tilapia during courtship. A male tilapia expresses its competence to a female by digging a large pit, which then becomes a spawning ground.
