Walis Nokan (born in August 1961) is a Tayal poet, writer, and historian. He is the most prolific indigenous writer in terms of literary works, awards, and inclusion in textbooks at all levels.

In 2021, he received the 9th Taichung City Literary Award and Literary Contribution Award. In this era of pursuing indigenous transitional justice, let us together appreciate the will of the Tayal poet.
