埔里盆地因地形因素，在夏季豔陽照射下，容易產生強烈熱對流，儘管虎頭山的海拔不到600公尺，仍吸引許多飛行傘玩家。特別在夏季的雨後，低空雲層看起來就像颱風眼ㄧ般，這特殊自然景色需要天時地利人和等條件配合。

Due to its topography, under the bright summer sun, there is strong heat convection within the Puli Basin. Although Hutoushan’s peak is at less than 600 meters above sea level, it attracts paragliding enthusiasts. Especially after a summer storm, low-lying clouds form a ring that resembles the eye of a typhoon. Capturing this unique natural phenomenon requires the cooperation of weather, place, and people.
