槭樹科的果實俗稱翅果，像是蝴蝶一般，有扇形的翅膀。翅果的構造，能讓風將果實送往離母樹很遠的地方。臺灣產樟葉槭的果實，可運用透光的原理，將翅果的構造細節紋路表現出來。右翅上還有已經孵化的椿象卵殼，記錄難得一見的特別畫面。

The fruit of the Aceraceae, or maple family is called a samara. It resembles a butterfly due to its fan-shaped wings. The structure of the samara allows it to be carried by the wind far from the parent tree. This is a samara of a flying moth tree in Taiwan, with detailed structure and texture revealed, based on the principle of translucence. On its right wing is a shell of a stink bug egg that has hatched, creating a rare and unique scene.
